The Birth of a Dream
With its multiple event spaces and state of the art technical system, Hylton Memorial Chapel is the preferred location to hold concerts, conferences, weddings, seminars, business meetings, and funerals in northern Virginia.
Hylton Memorial Chapel has no formal association with any one denomination or movement.
The dream to build a venue that would host Christian events in the Washington, DC area originated with a couple that was well known in Prince William County, Cecil and Irene Hylton. Although Mr. Hylton did not live to see this dream become reality, the idea for this unique facility remained alive in the heart of his widow Irene, who oversaw the planning of the Hylton Memorial Chapel Christian Event Center.
Since opening in 1995, Hylton Memorial Chapel has been honored to have many well known artists and speakers grace its stage. Among those have been Steven Curtis Chapman, Amy Grant, Donnie McClurkin, Michael W. Smith, Mercy Me, Casting Crowns, Chris Tomlin, Israel and New Breed, Fred Hammond, The Happy Goodman Family, Mark Lowry, Randy Travis, Kenneth Copeland, T.D. Jakes, John Bevere, Mark Batterson, Rick Warren, and Charles Stanley.

Directions
- Hylton Memorial Chapel is located adjacent Potomac Mills Mall, just off I-95 exit # 156. We sit directly across the street from the POTOMAC MILLS BEST WESTERN.
- From the North, take I-95 South to exit 156, the DALE CITY/POTOMAC MILLS EXIT. Bear RIGHT to Potomac Mills, the far left lane will bring you to a stop sign. You will be facing the gated entrance to Hylton Chapel.
- From the South, take I-95 North to exit 156B to Dale City. The ramp will bring you out on Dale Blvd/784 West. Turn right at the spotlight onto GIDEON BLVD. Go half a mile. Hylton Chapel is on the right. There is a sign marking the entrance.
- From the West/Manassas area, take Prince William Parkway east to Woodbridge. Take a RIGHT onto Smoketown Road. Proceed approx. one mile to Gideon Blvd., where there is a Bob Evans Restaurant on the right. Turn RIGHT onto Gideon Blvd. Turn Left at the first light, TOWN CENTER ROAD. HMC is located on the right.
